I used to. That is where the blank lives now. I never got around to hooking it up because the remote that I modded wasn't hitting on all cylinders for some reason. Then, we went with the MyQ. Yeah ours are hooked up to Alexa. I don't trust that hoe though, so I use the front door lol

 

For whatever reason, it is reliable on my Android. The kids are on the struggle bus for some reason (iOS). It will sometimes not open.


We still have a really cheap wifi camera pointed at the door since it is down a floor and we left it open a couple too many times.


The remote opening / closing and viewing is pretty freaking stellar. One of the few tech gizmos that my wife has latched on to hard. Win-win.

 

Yeah it's weird how apps do that. Usually everything is pretty solid on iOS. I can't believe those cunts are shipping phones without chargers.

 

Apple, Google, and MS all have their pluses and minuses. The part that annoys me is when they try to stake a claim on some existing tech. FFS!


I had not heard that bit though. Shit. I know there was some talk about going completely portless / buttonless.

Google changes their advertised features a lot. Much less than Samsung though.
