Your blue is about the only one I tolerate.

And you have nicely paired wheel color to go with it. So I approve

I don't know if anyone else here deals with this but I've dealt with Piriformis Syndrome in my right hip/ass for the last like two years. I addressed it with my PT while I was rehabbing my knee and I've gotten to the point where my running and desk job no longer irritate it. In fact it's nearly gone except for one movement...

    squats.

I stated before here I lean forward I think way too much for my body type (short brah) but I'm having a hell of a fucking time keeping my back straight up.

I'm meeting with two PTs on Thursday, my PT and then a PT who's a competitive powerlifter who looks like @Travish325 without a beard. I hope these guys can get me on the right path here.

Fingers crossed one day I fix this and will be able to squat more than I bench. :fingerscrossed:

Any advices or things to lookout for would be appreciated.

When you squat should your stance be wider than when you DL?

I think I have an anterior pelvic tilt from running, weak AF glutes with strong hip flexors pulling me forward, and weak quads relative to hamstrings. So like nothing works together in the movement making it all fucked up. I basically want to stand up then good morning the bar up, that's an over-exaggerated explanation but basically what happens.

I feel like I'm the only person who struggles this much with this movement. Squats should be like the most natural movement in the world but somehow I feel like I physically just can't do it right.

When you sit in a chair, do you fall the last inch or two?

    Overhead press/incline/larson press then accessories.

Y'all should try chaos pushups. Super fun.

Like seated or standing? Right now we are doing seated behind the neck for volume at like 6x4 ish. I'm doing between 185-200 depending how my shoulders feel.

I don't do a lot of barbell overhead pressing, mostly log.

    A real OHP, so standing.

I imagine log press uses more chest and front delt than standard OHP?

Jesus...I would stand up and use my curling bar with a 25lb plate on each side for standing OHP. So, like 60lbs total. Couldn’t imagine trying to lift numbers like 185-200. I know it’s seated but, it’s still a lot.

Log uses more everything lol it takes a toll on your body.

Standing OHP strict on a bar is around 300. I've hit 280 pretty easy in the past but like I said, most what I do is log press.

At 300lbs I’d probably fall over and crush my spine.

What made you fall in love with strongman. Like what took you down that path.

My rotator cuff has been getting pissy with me lately with all my running (and probably not doing my PT doesn’t help).
Had hubs do graston on it this evening to loosen it up.

@Supra TT you need to get your fiance to learn how to do this for you.

Its good for a healthy marriage. You can snap at her when your insulin gets all whacky and she can get you back by making you cry in pain.
