I bought one here off a member with combo
    It’s great
When I surf lock my keys, wallet and money in it
One day went in my truck and felt some thing wasn’t right
Checked home security cam and saw a guy go in taco open console and left when he saw CV
Gave video to police, not sure if they got him

So is the safe secured into the box or can u still pull it out ? Only down side leaving all your stuff in there . If they steal your truck . You just lost your wallet and whatever else u left in there . It’s still pretty cool .

The Lock'er Down, and I assume other brands, use the two bolt holes at bottom of the center console to secure the safe to the truck.

I gained some inspiration and folded up a holster bracket out of aluminum. Currently it's held on with VHB tape, but once I confirm I like the placement I'll anodize it and then rivet it in.

If anyone is on the fence, installed my third console vault. Love these things.

Can you guys help, I have been trying to figure out from pictures if the Console Vault door uses the full opening of the console, or is it inset from the side walls? Maybe it is just an illusion due to the tiny console. I could see from the Locker Down pictures the door edges touching the side walls.

The console vault door is about 5x5, whereas the opening for the console is something like 7x7. Notice how there is the border from the picture in the post prior to yours

I've got the Tuffy cubby version, which is great. I can fit an MP5K or an AR PDW (broken down) in plus a laptop and some mags. I've debated putting the console unit it to have a little more lock up space. On one hand I'm worried I'd lose the space for the stuff I keep in there currently.
