OR to TRD Pro Fox shocks impressions

Soooo i have a question now, i have 35"1/4in lift in the front from floor to the beginning of my fender flare, rear is about 36" from floor to beginning of fener flare hmmm what happen here?

I almost wish i wrote done the before measurements

 

Chances are the front are sagging just a bit more than the rear leafs are. Sometime in the near future, eibach is releasing new front springs for the trd pro that will give it a slight lift for stock trucks and bring modded trucks (winch bumper people) back to the stock height.

 

Ahhhhhhh thx just a bit annoying, well the shocks had 18k miles, my truck has 8k ahhhh

 

Yeah, mine had 20k on them and my truck had 15k. They match pretty good, but I still plan to get the eibach springs and just stash them away till I hit 50k and send the fox suspension off for a rebuild. Then install the new springs and get some new leafs.

 

So being OCD, i went out and measured again

Rear driver side 36 1/2
Passenger 36
Driver front 35 1/4
Driver pass 35 3/8

 

I dont remember what the OR height was, but on the OR is the rear higher then the front?

 

The rear on the offroad sits about 1 inch higher than the front stock. I seem to remember mine being 35ish in the front, now 36ish. But Im not sure.

 

Ahh ok makes me feel a little better, sucks though i was hopeing to have a level truck after the coilovers installed. So 50k are the rebuild intervals? It doesnt seem like my alignment changed at all im wondering if i can get away with realignment untill i get the tires and rims in hand

 

Fox lists 50k, many people will argue with you over that saying they dont need a rebuild. But, if Im going to have a high end suspension on my truck, Ill stick to the schedule.. just like oil changes.

I did mine the same way as you did by just pushing the control arm out of the way without unbolting it. I checked the alignment and it was still good. So you should be fine till you get your wheels and tires.

 

Awesome thx you for your feedback, i have a used pair of icons on hand but i have had 2 broken upper top hat mounts and i just dont trust them anymore for long trips.

 

You'll be able to swap those (or if you still have the stock ones) in at 50k if you decide to do a rebuild.

I always see people sell off their OEM suspension for a little bit of money, then when they need to warranty or send out their shocks for rebuilding they get screwed because they have either buy again, or let their truck sit on jack stands for a month.

someone is selling takeoffs at a steal but I want to make sure I can install them before I pull the trigger.

 

Been driving with the trd pro coilovers, i dont know they seem pretty soft maybe too soft ? I am getting a little nose dive when braking. Anyone else getting nosedive on trd pro coilovers?

 

A little bit, but not sure if this is more or less than any other truck compared with say, a car.

 

Are the springs and shocks one piece, as in compressed already or the springs still need to be compressed?, thanks

 

Weird.
I feel mine drive stiff like the sport suspension but with ALOT less nosedive, no body roll, and takes the bumps a lot less harshly.

Im not sure what would cause them to be soft? Maybe the leaf springs sagging?

 

The rear sits about an inch higher then thr front, i am thinking maybe with a lift spacer in the front should level the truck or maybe my front springs are sagging? Are there replacement coils i can install ?
