Im getting one,can you make a access flip up door in front to get to the winch so theres no holes in front,put the door on the angle not on top with a locking door.What the time frame I need one for my baja trip next month.Need one just like yours no holes,whinch mount,your hoop bar and flip up/flip down door ASAP. call me 714 381-2049 Lenny

Any plans on making an aluminum bumper like listed for 2nd gens?

 

ya i can do aluminum when ever so if anyone wants it just let me know, cost difference will just be for material

 

I am just cusious. Maybe next year some time if decent employment returns to my life. haha
Being a 4 banger the lighter aluminum would be worth the extra money IMO, and probably save a few fractions of MPGs which add up over the life of a bumper!

 

ya i've got a 4 cylinder and larger tires but haven't noticed anthing from putting the bumper on, i'm probably going to do an aluminum one for my truck pretty soon just for lightness and no rusting

 

The bumper isn't actually that heavy - it weighed about 100lbs with the light hoop and winch installed (with no line on it yet). About as much as a teenager. Weight savings would be nice, but you wouldn't see a dramatic improvement.
