There is more that you don't see than what you do see. I don't care what the 'frame inspection' said.

Shame a one oil change truck (10k OCI) was so poorly maintained.

Lots of '17's around. Keep looking. You want to start off pristine and protect before your Maine winter.

For the age of that truck, there's no way I'd buy it with what I've seen. I'd recommend you pass on this one. The Tacoma is the best selling midsize truck so you're bound to find one that's been maintained better than that.

I’m guessing you can spend a few more house dogs dollars from the price of that and buy new. Then fluid film it or undercoat it and enjoy.

Good choice. With the oldest tacoma only being 4 years old now, you should never settle for one that has any rust. Rust on a <4 year old truck usually indicates neglect to properly wash the truck.

I live in MN, we have more salt on our roads than the bonneville salt flats. Yet I have nearly zero rust anywhere on my truck due to rigorous winter time washing. I wash every other day in the winter, every week in the spring (still salt on the roads) and every other week in the summer and fall. My truck is a 2018 with 18k on it right now, no rust.
