The driver side went down when the mount broke and it was stopped but my LCA Skids (Thank God those were in place) or i think the damage would have been really bad. Could have damaged my engine oil pan really bad and also damaged the diff possibly. The passenger side went up at a crazy angle which is why that cv got trashed. The driver side was actually closer to the stock angle since i have a lift on the truck. The boot just ripped.

I bet the washer is just for a smooth surface for the boot to seal against to help keep the grease in, the knuckle can have an uneven surface sometimes. The new boot probably fits tighter to the bolt going through it and forms a seal that way so no need for the washer, just a guess.

I just hate coming to the office for a bs refill appt. all his other doc’s do a video call and done. Shits faster and I don’t have to deal with idiots.

Like a turning, suspension loading/unloading pop. I've got some play in my uca bushings so that's my next step when they show up. Its like the radiator support bushings helped though?

Eh kind of comes with the territory. To a point. I was told I shouldn't spray my leaf springs with wd40 after a nice pressure wash at full droop (squeaking was driving me nuts) and that was over 2 years ago.

i dont really mind it as long as its not crazy sounding and its not constant or damaging anything. But ive literally touched every bolt and re torqued and nothing has changed. Maybe it will have fixed itself after all the work i just did.

I remember back in the day being able to just call my doc and say hey I need a refill and they just call it in to the pharmacy. So many regs on that crap now that made it impossible.

I can't speak to the 2nd gen but I get a pop from my 3rd gen from going reverse to drive every now and then. I've noticed it happened when I would park it for a length of time, and instead of going straight to drive need to back out of my driveway. I started backing in and have not had an issue (old school trans warm up style)

Is yours when your vehicles trans is cold, or is this constant?

Mine makes all sorts of noises like that ever since I started wheeling it, I just turn up the radio as long as nothing is loose or worn. Annoying as crap. But I can't figure it out either. I completely rebuilt my front end and still had the noise soooooo........... Only thing that didn't change was my 6112s everything else was replaced.

Are you sure it’s not just pad slap? I was chasing down a noise at one point just to find out it was paid slap, which is apparently common in Tacomas.

try to isolate it to when you are going between drive and reverse and hitting the brake.

Damn that sucks and also weird they don't do the video call thing. It seems to be almost a preferred method anyway these days. hopefully it don't take to long

Lol yea performance parts mean non oem noises, I ordered some greasable pins to try and stop my leaf spring squeak everybody talking about their dobinsons being quiet. :anonymous:
Lol I can kinda feel it over the radio, it just gets old. Hopefully it does you've done a ton of work.
This is random sometimes it doesn't do it for awhile then it got to every time I turned in a dip, then I took my shock off and the uniball and lower mount are tight but bushings loose on the uca. Its kinda not doing it as much since all that. I posted a video of the uca pop https://youtu.be/1Xv0QgwtCXU
