That's why you're the easy target/good sport (not on the legality aspects...just humor and demeanor!)

It’s amazing how those old fiberglass campers are still worth so much. I found one in amazing shape for a decent price a few months ago but couldn’t make up my mind before it was sold. It wasn’t a casita but another one of those popular brands, I forget which

Yea, the only ones I know that are more expensive are the Airstream. I'd definitely rock one.

What I love most about his bar is it's the first thing you see coming in the front door.

    And his digital menu board...

So $40 for the front bed rail and you'll have the dup-liner "booth" and sprayer setup, I just bring the liner...right:rolleyes:;)?

I'll drive the 2-3hrs. for that package deal!

They look good, not too glossy/slick looking (did you do the textured or smooth liner option?)!!

Sure. Sure. C'mon down. If I don't answer the door just wait.

Seriously, the front rail is available all over the place. I've seen it on Amazon, eBay, and others.

And you do NOT want me to coat anything. If I could have kept it from dripping, it would've been very nice. It's got a solid texture to it, and it looks as good as Line-X. Maybe even better in some respects. Unfortunately, it's very thin and loves to drip. I did it with air and couldn't get it to adhere to any surface that was upside down. So it just dripped and dried like that. Okay. I cut off the drip bubbles, hung the sliders upside down and proceeded to roller it on this time. It dripped again, and I thought I had gotten the drips taken care of until I flipped it over after everything had dried. Nope. At this point I was done and decided to let it ride. Maybe they'll rub off and I can fix it later. Or not.

When I sprayed my sliders, I put them flat on cardboard. Sprayed. Waited for them to dry, flipped them. Repeat twice.

In hindsight, it's what I should have done. It would have worked out much better. I thought I had better coverage the first time I sprayed them. Then I flipped them over and saw that the only portions covered were where it dripped down. When I did the roller to fix that, I hung the sliders from the mounting plate thinking it would keep the stuff from dripping. I even went over some of the spots where it did drip. All the dried up drips I have now are on the outermost portion of the tube. So you know where they came from. I had just gotten to the point where I was done. I know they're going to get jacked up and I had already spent enough time dealing with them. I figure it's lessons learned. And there were a lot of them.

This is why I primed mine with Rust Bullet. Nothing worse than rusty stuff.

    Yikes.

Guess antirust primer and rattle can or rattle liner in a can it will be!

Shame I was hoping roller application might have avoided drips.

Your experience and headache will help all of us going forward!

Prime it with something like POR-15, Rust Bullet, or Steel-it. That will help keep rust at bay and they're somewhat impact resistant. And I liked the Rust-Oleum rattle can bedliner. Herculiner wasn't bad either.
