Oddly enough, there is no BOI1. There are two delivery stations, one on each side of town, which is where all those delivery vans are coming from. The FC's ship to delivery stations, USPS, UPS, etc, so wherever those will go is the service area. They just launched GEG1 up by Spokane, so between the two the whole E WA, E OR, and W ID should be covered with 1-2 day shipping.

 

I figured after the GEG1 started (I live in sight of it) we'd get 1 day on some stuff, but nope.

 

Spokane doesn't actually have any delivery stations yet, which is probably affecting that. GEG just launched too, it might take them a little while to get up to full speed.

Yeah the FCs are named on the nearest international airport. The delivery stations have their own naming convention.

Like 90% of the time it takes for you to get something is in the transportation time, thus the delivery stations are critical to fast shipping. It only takes 20 minutes or so from the time you order something to the time it's getting boxed up.

 

dude when i drove by that place for the first time...i was horrified. The semi truck bays looked SOOOOO tiny compared to the size of the building. Its nuts!

 

If you only new what you were getting into...right?

 

A solid front wheel alignment makes such a difference in the way the truck handles. I've been driving around on a whacked alignment for over a month. Ever since I screwed it up on our last adventure to ID/MT.




Even though the caster on the driver's side is a little lower that I prefer, I was willing to try it out and see how it drove. So far seems pretty damn good.

Hopefully the new cam tab gussets will help to keep this one from getting screwed up so easily. Cause I sure as hell ain't slowing down.

You know, all things considered, our eyeball alignment wasn't that terrible. Feel decent now?

 

Yeah, it was pretty close except for toe but we didn't even try to set that. Drives pretty good.

Well see how well it holds.

 

Just back from three days around Mt. Rainier. Ran Naches, Manastash Ridge, Tripod Flats (and surrounding area) and a few FS roads around the mountain. Great time. Naches was torn up, and there were a few places I was sure we were going to tag a body panel, but we squeezed by each time.

Yep, both. Were there...Tuesday for lunch, just after Tripod Flats. That was a nice little bear you left nailed to the tree by the camp fire at Tripod Flats .

 

The cabin’s been getting worse over the years, we tried to clean up a little around the fire pit though. Those benches need to be replaced one of these days too.

 

Why'd you have to pull the retainer off again? And why not put the tone rings back on - since you can just reuse the existing tone ring (i.e. they don't wear out unless you chew them up from a failure)?

 

Gotcha. I had that happen on one as well - I was like 2mm too far, but I still had the tone rings on there, so it was easy peasy to fix. Well, sounds like you're well on your way. I mean, unless you want to pull everything off to get the tone rings back in there, hahahaha! j/k

and odd. I can't remember how I even got the tone rings off..Im assuming we did it after the bearing was press off..

 

Trusty-Cook makes nice deadblows. I've had their soft faced and hard faced (or whatever you call deadblows with the metal face) for years and they have held up well. They do sales at most holidays so can save some money. Can also grab blemished ones which just have minor defects

 

Seven years is pretty good, I tear two of them up at least yearly, and at about $6 I just buy another. They're a good value.

 

Jesus wtf are you all doing with your dead blows? I barely use mine.
