Indeed. I love music. A lot of musicians are completely anti everything I stand for, but as ling as they shut up and sing I'm happy and will keep listening. Start talking politics and I'm done.

NH has a reputation because "live free or die".

In reality isn't as great as people like to think. Better than mass yes, but if you want to live freely you better gtfo new england.

Agreed. All six states are nanny states to the extreme. The three northern ones are only slightly less so. I thought long and hard about staying in NC, LA, or even a different state, but with older parents I figured I would come home to New England for awhile.

Had Town Fair install some E rated Wildpeaks yesterday. A shame they don't make them in C or D. Pr icy, but I needed tires after my second set of Cooper AT3s shit the bed prematurely(both sets started cupping bad at 35K and sounded like super swampers at 45K). It was a toss up with the new Toyo AT3s as that is a good looking(better than the Falken) set of tires and looks capable as well. The Falkens were a cunt hair cheaper though.

Have a good day all, first day back in the school building since March 12th. Not looking forward to the next 2 weeks with out students, I hate training days, now I get to spend about two weeks in zoom meeting and trainings that I “need” to be in the school building for.

My Fing town Jesus. They’re trying to scare off a developer who wants to build up on a privately owned golf course, one of FOUR in my damn town.

I hope they fail. If they succeed this will blacklist my town from developers for a long time, everywhere else around us will welcome them, get built up and we’ll be the dumping ground. Please for the love of god, let there be SOME development in your precious town that has been forgotten for years.

Federally prohibits you in MA because of the potential penalty a DUI carries, at least that's how I understand it. There other ways to go about it but that's a much more in depth discussion and your best off consulting with a lawyer.

DUI of any type anywhere in USA means no pistols in MA from what I understand.

Yeah in MA you can’t own standard capacity mags or certain rifles that are spooky or black or even certain handguns that the AG thinks are scary. Also can’t purchase ammo online and have it shipped to MA and many online parts or other retailers won’t even ship to a MA address. RI is definitely more free. Unfortunately the vast majority of New England citizens don’t care about their rights when it comes time to vote and they just keep re-electing the same or carbon copy politicians into office. The same group will also freak out when riots, burning, and looting eventually move this way and they have no means of protecting their home or family and realize they have many many hoops to jump through to obtain those means.

Cali shut down the mag ban, I'm expecting that to be used as a national litmus test and a lot of these laws to fail soon in MA.

Maybe if the NRA wern't such worthless shit bags it already would be in court. NRA is total dog shit.

Hopefully the Cali ruling is upheld. I think it within the last year the mag ban was overturned, then put back in place, and now overturned again. Hoping other states will follow suit if there’s enough pressure from local groups to do so. Agree NRA is dog shit. GOA a much better group and local groups would be even better for initiating change on a state level

No shit. Nice! I haven't dug into the laws but I thought I remembered reading that they were a bit more restrictive for some of the CCP and what you can own, not necessarily who. I can be wrong though!

I don't have firearms and don't care to, but I'll vote to keep them up. If anything I would use a firearm for hunting, so I don't give a rip about handguns in my day to day use.

:D totally agree. They've become just another lobby group disenfranchised from their actual goal. That said their origin is less than ideal. But, there are plenty of things that come from good and become bad, or come from bad and become good. So. Ah well.

ri has a shooting test that mass doesn't have, 30 rounds at 25 yards with the largest caliber that you want to carry. it took 6 months, but i was able to get my ccw in ri. i had to practice for that, but it wasn't bad.

Since I would only use firearms for hunting, the CCP for me would be in allowing across state lines, I think there's some laws about how to transport firearms in some states different than others, where as the CCP if reciprical allows you to just keep going. Hard to CC a rifle anyway :D

You have to be licensed appropriately and carry according to the laws in any state you visit. There is some reciprocity, but it takes some research to find the best states to get licensed in for your needs. Here in the northeast the only states you can pass through or in, while armed, without getting a license to cover that state, are VT, NH, ME (all 2A carry states, no license needed for CC or Open).

Bitch on. I like my baseball and football but I can manage. Sports should not be the primary reason people are in school, it should be education. Period.

Yeah I didn't play sports can you tell..

Good to learn those things plus teamwork etc. I learned a lot about those things in general racing, but that was totally an individual type thing. I do play a competitive team sport presently though.

As I said above, sports shouldn't be the reason to be in school..participating in activities is a privilege in my book and should always be. I do think the lack of real life learning is also due to the huge money they get right out of college, which I'm not sure what the answer is for.

Say what people will about my "devil music" but rare is it to hear someone like Slayer discuss that topic. Glenn Danzig has mentioned government in interviews sporadically before but more in general about not trusting them, versus one side or another.

What Pugga said, a few years ago it was rammed in on the back of another bill. Basically if the crime could carry a year in jail, even if it isn't passed as part of the sentence and if it is rarely if ever done in general it's lifetime DQ. It's not the felony/misdemeanor line in this case as it is that any DUI could carry that jail time.

I've heard it's possible to fight it but expensive, and even at that still up to the licensing officer. I'm sure a LO wouldn't look too kindly upon that regardless.
