Assuming that is true on paper. In practice that 2200 gets stretched out way more. When I bought dealers were giving decent discounts on OR's, and sports, but still holding on a 5k mark up for on Pro's. Making my fully loaded Or a bit under 35k and a Pro somewhere around 45.

I agree about resale. But again, largely cosmetic. You can get a TRD exhaust and leather seats as well if that's important to you. $2k will still get you a pretty good suspension upgrade.

Again, I have read it and gave my view on it. You chose to argue my opinion with me and I have defended it. I haven't "looped back," I restated my opinion. And again, $2-4k will buy you a pretty good suspension if that's what you want. I stand by my statements.

I haven't read this whole thread start to finish, but a couple things to point out if you go with the TRD Pro Manual that you're giving up over the AT (I drive a 2020 Pro M/T) is:
    • Crawl Control
    • JBL Premium Audio (probably a good thing - JBL not upgrade-able)
    • Push button start and key-less proximity entry
    • Tire pressure monitoring system (good thing imho)
Those items were not really spelled out clearly when I was researching, but you are losing out some "features" by not getting the A/T. Also, here in Canada tho the M/T was almost $4k cheaper than the A/T.... Something to consider.

I'm just going by the configurator on Toyota's site. I suppose it could be wrong. And the leather seats are different.

The leather seats are identical sir, besides the red stitching on the pro.

Edit: compare my seats to the pro seats.

The Sport and Off Road have the same exact MSRP if configured the same so the difference from the Pro would be an equal amount.

Whatever the reason (cosmetic or otherwise), Pros fetch a huge premium on the resale market.

Also, Cosmetics matter to a lot of people. Ask the folks who spend $3500+ on an "M-performance" package on a BMW 3 series for some body panels, wheels, and blacked out trim. LOL

My 2020 Pro 6MT has TPMS. Is it a regional difference (Canada)?

His post was wrong. All north american ORs and Pros come with TPMS. My sport does not have it, since its not required on new vehicles in canada.
