It's been going on for a little where if I am accelerating starting around 3-4k rpm there is a rattling sound from the pedal but its a small rattle that can only be heard if I turn the music off.(from what I can hear). But it is fine around the lower rpm. Also does anyone have a high clutch bite early on I am at 22k miles and clutch only needs a small distance for it to disengage.

Do you think that I should ask my toyota dealership to check out the transmission and even adjust the bite point?

I would address it at the dealer . If it’s defective item then it might be covered under warranty . If they determine it’s normal it’s documented. Then later if u have a major issue then u have documentation of it prior to failure of parts and they can’t argue with you about who is the responsible party for the repair . Best of luck

For sure take it to the dealer, especially if it's still under warranty

My previous Tacoma had this problem. Turns out it was a simple adjustment under the dash. Dealer did it in about ten minutes. There is what looks almost like all thread with an adjusting nut on it they use to adjust the clutch pedal

oh i never tried resting my foot on the pedal. Just because of habbit I use the dead pedal when I am not changing gears.
But I am hoping they will find a solution I had a squeaky pedal before and they fixed it

Well I had a squeaky clutch pedal before and I took it into them, and they did it free of charge so I hope they don't charge me for it if there is something wrong.

I will have to check the adjustment. Would adjusting it by myself void warranty (I guess its up to the dealer)

The clutch pedal TSB is only applicable until 3yr/36k. An adjustment by the book wouldn't typically be grounds for an issue, but all dealers seem to handle things differently. Myself, I lubed and adjusted the clutch before 36k, but I wasn't really considering taking it in.

The pedal and system up to the pressure and friction plates and flywheel should be covered with no worries. The pressure and friction plates and flywheel are pretty much on us unless there is a serious materials issue. There have a been a few folks that got help with very low miles, but that part of the system is mainly on us.

No, I didn't schedule a check for them to look at it. It just went away for me but I will bring it up once I take her in for 26k

I have responded to this on a different thread but figured here would be more appropriate. Be interested to hear what your dealer tells you as my pedal vibration at RPMS over 2500 was diagnosed as "operating as designed."

Good luck and let us know how it plays out.

When I brought it up they said they couldn't replicate it, though I am at 30k now and I hardly hear it now  but if I can't hear it its fine by me. Any luck with you two ? Did the dealership say anything about it

    Nope, they never did anything.

I went to a different dealership and made some money on a trade into a 2020 AT

If anyone is still wondering on this thread its the "clutch push rod". there is another thread on the matter. You may just need to tighten the rod or lube it up. Mine was loose so I tightened it and haven't had any problems in 30,000 miles
