    Jumpin' Geehossifats I'm back!! :D

While I was away I took the opportunity to get a few things done!

First my 5k oil change and yeah I know, good for 10k. Well not on my Tacoma. Every 5k. Small money, BIG piece of mind.
    :crapstorm:

While I was there I installed my F103n Fumoto valve on my oil pan.

Swapped out that crappy OEM plastic filter cover for my Jowett Performance Billet Oil Cup with the EZ Valve. This thing is sweet and extremely well made and finished. If you haven't checked this product out yet you should. Brian (Jowett Performance) has a thread here on TW with all the information you need as well as ordering info. I highly recommend this product.

And dropping the OEM sheet metal, for lack of a better term skid plates, every time I needed to do an oil change just seemed rediculous soooo......
I installed my color matched Pro Skid Plate. No more time consuming or messy oil changes!

Finally I put on my Demon Hooks and Shackles.

Felt good finally getting this done and making a small but significant dent in my mod pile.

15 minute oil changes from now on and no more risk of some entry level tech with an impact wrench set to 100 psi cross treading the weld nuts on the frame.

    Wood Hooo!
    :bananadance::dancingbacon::broccoli::jellydance::kona::locked:

My thanks to all for reaching out during my little vacation!:thumbsup:

Assuming you mean the 12v power outlet, the one in my center console has white w black stripe for ground and yellow for 12v ignition power. I believe the one in my dash is the same but I just put in my blue sea last night so I would have to take things apart to triple-check. I remember the ground being white with black. The ground is also the larger of the two connectors, power is narrower as you can see in the socket once you remove it. The center pin is power and it's the narrower one of the blades.

Purple sounds right too now that you mention it. It was dark and I didn't remove them from the connector and it's got harness on the back and not a ton of extra wiggle room. 99% confident white w black is ground, 100% if you confirm it's wider than the purple one.

Just removed Tacoma badges from doors and V6 from tailgate. Probably remove decals on side of bed, thinking about replacing them with something more unique. Then it'll be time starting planning full paint correction so I can ceramic coat truck and windows.

Yes, I've checked it and some oil is present. It works and is easy to maintain.

Not an idiot! The only stupid question is the one that's never asked! We're here to help one another and share a common passion.
The Jowett filter cover replaces your plastic OEM filter cover and has a drain valve mounted to it. Helps make oil changes quick, easy and without the mess of the OEM filter cover. Add the Fumoto valve to your oil pan, a piece of 3/8" tubing to the nipple of each one and it almost makes doing an oil change a pleasure.
Hope that explains it. If you ever have 2nd thoughts about asking a question, don't. We feed off each other here. If your still hesitant about asking a question feel free to burn me a PM and I'll be happy to help if I can.

Welcome to TW Ryan! Today I'm answering your question, tomorrow you may be answering mine.
