Add me as interested in the 500. But as I indicate above I have a 240. Actually reached out to Jackery to see about a trade in so that would effect my commitment to the group by....unless you could help me with that too? PM me if you need to.

Edit: And FYI...in case I/we missed it...they are also offering an extra year warranty if you submit your serial number to them after purchase.

I emailed Jackery about it shutting off when there is a minimal draw. Below is there email response.

"Thank you for choosing Jackery, and contacting us for your case.

For energy saving, E240 will auto turn off in 6h if the draw is below 10W on AC and DC ports.

Really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Pls understand this is the design result after we considered all the pros and cons. If customers forgot to turn off the port after use, leaving the battery turning on will drain out the power, which is not environmentally-friendly and will also cause a problem when you need to use it again in an emergency. We are trying to extend the auto turn-off time to meet more customers' demand.

You can plug a power strip to power up different small devices to make the draw over 10W.

Hope helps. Looking forward to your feedback."

I believe in my case this happened because the food I put in the fridge was from my freezer so it was completely frozen. The fridge was jam packed with pre-frozen food. The compressor probably never had to come on to maintain the temp. I've never had this issue before and I actually think it's a good feature.

@CowboyTaco thanks for getting some traction on this! I’m wondering if you’re allowed to cross post to other forums to get the numbers up? Wouldn’t want anything done in bad faith but I can see this being pretty popular on t4r.org and tundras.

You can add me to the interested list for the 100w panel too.

I'm going to pass on that one for now. Thanks for all your effort on this. I hope it works out. I'm pretty happy overall with Jackery.

I asked them about this as well, and have been given permission to do so. Today has been incredibly busy at work, but I plan to create threads on t4r.org, toyotaoff-road.com and ih8mud.com. I am not a member on any tundra or FJ forums. I would like to at least get enough interest to make this happen, so please feel free to share on the Tundra forum. If anyone is a member on any FJ forums, feel free to post there as well.

Hey! Interested in the 500 and 100w panel. We leave on a trip mid-late Sept and would love to have something before then, so kind of depends on the time frame! Thanks.

    Added.

That puts us at 6 or 7 for each depending on what @fishing4boulders decides. It is my understanding that once we have 10 who say they are interested/committed, we get a discount code and can all individually place our orders. We need 20 for the solar panels, but hopefully enough people see this and are interested/committed to make it happen as well.

Thread is now live on ToyotaOff-Road.com, T4R.org and IH8Mud.com. Hopefully that helps reach the numbers needed.

If needed, and someone doesn't beat me to the punch, I may create an account on an FJ and/or Tundra forum. I'm going to plan on using this thread as the master list, so I'll add which forum they belong in parenthesis next to their username so that we have an accurate count.
