I probably don't have anytime for an overnight trip out east after this weekend for a while...I have fall quarter of school starting up again and I'm pretty much slammed until winter break but I'm finally done with school spring 2021! Most likely we'd do maybe a trip to tahuya or some snow wheeling in the north cascades later on during winter break.

Nice build OP! Finally let go of my lifted Sierra and picked up my dream truck about 2 month ago. Wasn't sure about the inferno color at first but its really on growing on me. Your build is definitely inspiration!

Thanks! Yeah, originally I wanted to get super white, I didn't see any infernos around but then I saw one in a brochure and was like well, this car isn't going to be loud and fast, so might as well get loud paint :D

It's been a slow and steady process of getting the parts, making sure I have use for everything but it's pretty much all come together over the years.

Forgot which trail this was, either manastash ridge or the shoestring trail. But lots fun, lots of tight trees, big rocks and off camber sections. 2nd and 3rd gens def need sliders with a kickout to avoid nailing the sides of your bedsides or doors on the trees. I was pretty amazing I came out without a dent. I did come literally half an inch away from putting my door handle into a tree. Skid plates not necessary but if you have less than 33s you'll probably bang your undercarriage often.

Found a newer looking mine shaft and some old gold mining equipment up at liberty.

Yep, last section of Shoestring before you climb the hill to join up with the Ridge trail. Crazy how much is starting to regrow out there.

For sure, that last photo looks like reecer not manatash. Do you have the gpx files for the trail you ran, i'm trying to put together a good day run for a meet in october-ish might make that part of it. I'm going to head up and pre-run some stuff to make a file to give to everyone.

Any idea when it actually burned? I remember like 5 years ago it was pretty sparse like it happened recently then.

yeah, if you put these two tracks together that's basically the whole area. From 410 you can hit funny rocks and moon rocks, then head up to tripod flats, shoestring, and the ridge trail all the way up to Quartz Mtn, then head back towards E-burg on the 3100 rd.

Can't have been more than 5 or 6 years ago, I think we went the year after it burned and it was super charred, nothing growing at all.

There were some areas where I only had like an inch on either side of me...can you fit with the LT?

yeah, i've yet to find a trail up there i couldn't get the truck in, but thats what the slider and bumpers are for. We actually had a fun time a few years back, a big tree fell on tripod and some jeep from seattle was like your not going to make it around it. He tried multiple times (My wife was driving) and i said no worries we'll give it a shot, he stopped to watch and she made it first try. Guy got in his jeep and left.

+2.5" or +3.5" LT? Gonna be tight either way, I think.
