Finished installing my Cali Raised Accessory 8 Switch :D This is a game changer compared to having those cheap harnesses with multiple buttons, individual wires and fuses running right from the battery!!!! The instructions were wrong so I had to label everything. I thought me switch was broken when I first wired everything up :p

I also put a small cutout of tint over my volt meter to lower down the brightness. Saw another TW members mention it earlier on. It definitely helps!!!

Two weeks. The thing works great.

In my old truck I had an Alpine iLX-107. It took the same amount of time to connect phone with truck as this device does.

I mounted it with heavy duty mounting tape here under the dash to the left.

Only see this knob/button thing on the dash with a custom switch plate. Sure looks better than the Tekonsha knee knocker I was going to transfer form my old Jeep.

I was impatient somewhat. Probably could have gone another 2 years on the stock Mich Destinations, but was able to get $240 for the set of 4. The Grapplers are on rebates (so came out to $130 each (before all the add on costs).
And it has been over 15 months since my last confession....upgrade

Thanks Dan, the kind words are very much appreciated. We're all friends more or less. Some disagreements here and there but we're all here because we share a common interest and a passion for our Tacomas. It's a great site with a lot of talented and knowledgeable people with lots of great ideas. Best Tacoma site on the net hands down.

A few minutes ago my wife asked me, rather directly, "And you think you'll actually use that?" referencing my victory 4x4 bedside molle panel and my intent to use it to hold my rotopax water bottle and a molle pouch for tiedowns.

I didn't have a good answer other than "I was going to use it as a back rest".
