    most small shop don't have a legitimate hydraulic press or the proper fitting to press it with. Some use the same tool that you can rent from Autozone. I had mine done at a shop too. The tech bent the sleeve and got scared so he stopped. I checked what equipment they used and it was the autozone style bushing removal and install tool. I took it to a machine shop that had a hydraulic shop press and they pressed it in with no problem. These whiteline have to be pressed straight. If it is at a slight angle it will F* up the sleeve.

    Gotta be very careful with a mechanical press. It will have way more force than really needed, but it sure is a hell of a lot easier than how I have done it.

    I use a grade 8 bolt with many shims and a bearing press kit. It just takes patience to be sure the sleeve is straight. I realign the bushing probably about 2-3 times before "pulling" it into the eye.
    Freezing the bushing before install does help. And lube those suckers up. :jerkoff:
