My son’s school didn’t have enough chrome books for everyone so he’s using his own computer. He can use his iPad when we go somewhere and still do all his school work. The first day was a disaster here with the chrome book users. Kinda glad we didn’t get one. We have enough computers for him to get stuff done so really no need for us to get one when someone else may need it.

I got my daughter her own laptop tablet thingy but it's a little small compared to the chromebook which at her mother's already got schmutz all over it. We are hopefully going back to school after the 1st 9 weeks.

 

Yeah we’re hoping for that too. They just aren’t going to learn much doing virtual. Maybe if the teachers actually got on there and taught instead of just assigning stuff to do it may be different. He had a 10 min zoom meeting this morning with his class. Wasn’t much to it. Now his math teacher does seem to get it and is teaching by video.

 

Ours does zoom from 9-4pm problem is when school starts again that's going to be their time. Also they are being taught about being kind and kindness. What has society come to where school has to teach about that.

Missed the weather post this morning. Had to go into the office to finish something an unreliable employee didn't do. Nightmare all day to be honest.

Anyway, you guys in North Alabama have a risk of tornadoes tomorrow from the remnants of Laura. Quick spin ups, hard to forecast. So stay weather aware tomorrow.

 

Got my 2020 grill in. Gonna install it this evening if the rain lets up. Anyone wanna buy a 2018 OR grill for cheap?

That's nuts sounds like some NJ stuff right there. My sis and BIL lost their first house bidding 75g over asking someone bid 150g over asking. And we wonder why the crash happened and FMV is driven out of control.
