Hello (again)

I briefly joined this forum a few years ago after getting a basic 2000 Tacoma. 10 days later someone pulled out in front of me and totaled it.

Just picked up a '95 4x4 Tacoma today. Hopefully I'll have better luck and keep this one for more than 10 days.

Though I'm already having an issue with it. It won't start. It just clicks once when I turn the key. The battery seems okay. Any ideas on where to begin?

Cables to starter able to carry load or getting hot because of breaks/corrosion.?
Give the starter a few hammer taps
Could need plungers or contacts replaced.
OEM starters are fixable and the aftermarket starters suk.

Thanks. I don't think there's anything with the wires. I checked them over and couldn't see anything.
