Snugtop Rebel or Leer 100XR for 2020 Tacoma TRD

Matt, where did your order your shell from?

 

Mountain Toppers in Hyde Park, UT.

They sell the Raider brand, which are the same shells as Leer

 

I bought the Century Ultra Sport, which is the Leer sold under a different name. Made in the same factory, same molds, same parts. Windows even have Leer on the factory stickers.

Very happy with the shell. Wasn't happy with the wait. Was quoted 6 weeks and it arrived at 13.5 weeks. My dealer got the factory to include a ceiling hook system and upgraded frameless windows at no charge. The frameless glass is a really nice touch.

@s.wilson ive seen your truck in this thread and other threads...just gotta say you’ve got a nice looking truck.

 

I just paid $2600.00 Out the door for a Leer 100XR with sliding windoors on both sides, carpet (headliner), roof rack rails (only), sliding/tilt down front window, LED interior light and power lock system, including installation.

ETA 4-5 weeks..... Lets see if that actually happens.

 

Pretty good price for all of those options. Post some pics when its on!

 

You know it’s a small world when you’re reading through this thread on TW and find someone else who’s shopped the same store in Hyde Park, UT.

 

One day shy of 11 weeks from order to install. Apparently the windoors were backordered. I'm digging it though!

I am excited, because it looks like you ordered the exact topper I just ordered a few days ago, and yours looks amazing, so I know mine will too. Did you get sliding windoors on both sides? Did you go with the remote lock deal?

Thanks!! I really like it. Yeah, sliding windoors on both sides and so glad I went with them. Have been totally useful so far. Did not do the remote lock.

I sold my Diamondback and went with the Rebel + sportsman package. My German Shepherd pup got too big for the cab. So far so good, looking at the Prinsu caprack next.

 

I've had multiple issues with my leer. Had it under a year and I hate it. Is more convenient then nothing to store things.
Few issues.
Leaking thru the third brake light.
Struts something's don't work, flinging the back glass right into the air and bottoming out.
Lock stopped working with key fob.
Interior light now doesn't work.
Wiring harness module and plug won't stay together.
A screw fell out of the side of the back glass and my backglass wouldn't close properly.

 

One word: Windoors.

Get your cap whatever brand you decide on with that option.

 

So far I really like my century ultra (leer 100R)

 

im really digging that cap. any idea how it holds up to weight on the roof? im interested in getting a cap and roof rack

 

sorry haven’t checked the website recently. Holds up just fine with a Tepui Autana 3 with two adults and a dog!! Check out Etsy too and get a custom emblem instead of the leer logos on the side
