I wouldn't assume malice either. They probably didn't realize you can overload it

3 young daughters, blow dryers, curling irons and microwave popcorn added to fridges and chest freezers already running. Plus TVs and 6000 BTU ac window unit.
I did notice the throttle had been set higher so the 40 hp diesel was probably blowing black smoke as the coil cooked. Stunk real bad.

As this group has become like a second family..yes, yes I am. I'm good at at the job and love it, but about 9 months ago I started having anxiety out of nowhere. I mean, I know what caused it and it was due to being an idiot, but since then I have had increasingly bad anxiety and this job has perpetuated it. Not anxious in that I can't get things done, but more that I never stop thinking about them and won't stop working on something. I've gotten less sleep and haven't enjoyed one day of this vacation because of it. Even my mom, who is a psychiatrist, has noticed a difference and agrees that going back to the other job is a good idea.

That's great and I'm happy that you had the ability to move to something different. I've had the same happen before back when I was a team lead. The stress was unreal and I was literally waking up every night not being able to sleep to where I got into the routine of grabbing a blanket and pillow and heading to the couch around 2am. It was a rough time and it took me a while to a) let it go and b) find another position.

Hopefully you get back to work being work and your time off being 100% your own

Thank you, and I hope so too. Been like this for a while. Usually I can let things go for a while but recently it's been nonstop thinking. Hell I wake up in the middle of the night to writet solutions to problems I haven't thought of, down. It's insane. And yeah, I'll be getting some help for it. It's one of the reasons I couldn't sleep one night and shoveled my folks' massive driveway at 3am until I nearly passed out from exhaustion. Anything to calm the mind

No, but if you have Dewalt; I would stick with that. My Dewalt rep said that they will be coming out with a Flexvolt lawnmower next year.

You do know I had a hand in making that, right? Just to be clear.

    Vice President? Seriously?

How is the back? Hope it's getting better!

Crawled his ass. Never heard that?

    May 4th

Yessir. Suppose to start tonight with heavy rain and storms all day tomorrow. Glad you're safe down there!
