@MESO Customs knocks it out of the park again!!

MESO Customs steering wheel emblem cover.

Wrapped 2012+ steering wheel on my 06 Taco with new all leather cover. Also fixed peeling flat black vinyl wrap on ugly AF chrome Toyota emblem on steering wheel.

    PERFECT FIT!! :headbang:

you've done a LOT in that cabin. Dig the A pillar mouldings. HU. I tried to put those controls on a 2013 steering wheel and they weren't compatible. :notsure:

operator error, no doubt. looks good.

Thanks! Yeah, I have a straight-up Mall parking lot queen. So besides the clichè 33 Duratracs, and black rims, and 3” lift (which I like all of these mods) I have concentrated a lot on the interior cabin. Trying really hard to make all look OEM.

Great job on the interior! How did you get the power sliding window and the bed light switch to work?

    Well that's a trick answer....

My "stock" is a 4runner rotor that's about an inch bigger than stock tacoma rotors, that was a huge difference in braking.
These slotted and drilled I think are an upgrade more so on less brake fade than actual stopping power.

The awesome thing about this community is that there are a lot of fellow Tacoma enthusiasts that thought about how to solve a problem. Also, everyone is ALWAYS willing to help you out:thumbsup:

For the power sliding window, start here (lots of reading)

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/power-sliding-window-mod-info-thread.468695/

And the wiring for the deck lighting to look and function like OEM was possible thanks to @caribe makaira, thanks George!

Do you have an install thread, or one that you followed? I am assuming the aftermarket head unit played a large part in the button functionality?

Not really, I installed the PAC unit in accordance with the manual, and then I reached out to PAC tech support and they helped me figure it out and properly program my steering wheel controls.

*** EDIT: You think depends on your HU? You require a Steering Wheel Control interface. The aftermarket HU really doesn’t matter.

Ah gotcha. Damn. I know the Tundra upgrade is the best upgrade but was hoping the towing/offroading powerstop pads/rotor would be a viable cheaper/easier upgrade. With big tires and armor I'm definitely feeling it braking.

Your truck is an 06? You did one hell of a good job with the interior mods! Do you have a build page? Im really interested to see all the things you did in there.

Yes it is... I purchased it October 22, 2005 with 4 mi on the odometer.

WOW! That’s pretty cool. No I do not have a build page, I guess I can look into making one.

For anyone interested, this is an awesome in depth post on rotor/pad selection and where I stole my part #s from:

I also adjusted the coilovers 3 turns (1/4") on each side to level out a bit after installing that beefy BAMF bumper/trilogy skids..

The right tools make everything so much easier.
