    Hi guys,

I want to get the word out on a new product that I offer, but do it in a way that will help TacomaWorld as well. I ran this by staff and they gave the OK...

The problem--anyone who puts on larger wheels and tires on their truck is bound to take it off-road. Rocky terrain along with more force from larger wheels and tires tends to overwhelm the stock alignment cams, which can knock your alignment out. A great weekend can have an annoying end when you need to set up an alignment appointment.

The fix--Bison Offroad Stop Cams. These are suspension alignment cams that are shaped like a stop sign, not an egg. The flat sides do a much better job of staying in place, and the 10.9 rated hardware can take the torque needed to keep the cams in place.

The solution--I'd like to send out a kit or two for free, as long as you can meet these requirements:

    a) You can install the Stop Cams and take pictures within 2-3 weeks
    b) Include feedback on the install. This is key, as we change these out on a 2-post lift, and it's easy. I'd like to get feedback from someone who installs it in his garage.

    c) Instructions--if your truck is aligned, mark exactly where the bolt sits and remove the stock eccentric kit. Situate the Stop Cams to match where the bolt was located. Install bolt through the Stop Cams and tighten to factory specs. Send feedback.

That's it. If I was more creative I'd have a better contest, but for now the contest is:

Add a picture of your truck to this thread. I'll pick a truck or two at random and contact you for your address on Thursday, September 3rd. That's it.

Thanks for checking us out.20191127_163239.jpg stop cams2.jpg stop cams3.jpg

What vehicles and years are you providing kits for? Any reason they wouldn't work with the TC cam gussets?

What do they fit? Right now I've got:

    Taco 2005-2015 4Runner 2003-2009 (same kit)

    Taco 2016-2020 4Runner 2010-2020 (same kit)

I've got the 2007-2020 Tundra kit in stock, but that doesn't count on this forum. ;)

This looks like a solid idea, is it a nut on the other side or something else?

I've been known to throw an alignment or two off and could give a good rundown of both install and how it holds up to abuse.

I'm in. My buddies run an alignment shop, so I can get a professional opinion after I install them. I don't have any action shots.

Yes 1st Gen, just no stock right now. This is one of the reasons why I'm looking for feedback.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
How much do you plan to sell them for? I'm planning to rebuild my suspension soon so a new stronger alignment cam would be nice. I'm also impatient so it would go on as soon as I received them.

So I’m no expert and I might obvious be wrong. But doesn’t the stock cam bolt give you continuously variable adjustments? This looks like it only gives you 8 (maybe fewer, I’m not really sure) options. Is that correct? I assume that’s sufficient to get good alignment?

I'm just about to saw my A arms off and swap in a different solution to the issue. Id be game to try yours instead though. Supporting offroad races and trophy trucks does a number on my alignment trying to traverse those rugged tracks and stay out of the way.
