Good idea! Then if I wanted to carry milk or a 12 pack I could leave the top open and strap down the contents.

I loved the bike! It was a hoot to ride! Instructors hated the damn things but they had them as leftovers after the previous owner sold the company (weird Cali motorcycle safety program stuff). I loved it, so much fun to ride and fuck around on!

    Speaking of small bikes..

Changed the oil and filed the points on the CT90 and it's still giving me weird stuttering problems, combine that with not the best day at work and it means I'm in the mood to spend money.

Looking at swapping in this, semi-auto 140CC w/ electric start:
    https://tboltusa.com/store/pitster-...r-fits-pit-bikes-and-other-minis-p-11309.html

    or this 140cc manual w/ a kicker:
    https://tboltusa.com/store/piranha-140cc-engine-br-fits-pit-bikes-and-other-minis-p-660.html

E-start means I can't run a skid plate, but it seems so damn convenient. Semi-auto means no clutch lever/cable to buy and super clean handle bars OR I install the left hand rear brake again. Not sure if it's worth the $$$ though. All in to convert I'm probably looking at $1000-1100. (Exhaust, 12v battery, throttle housing/tube/cable, front brake stay, engine, engine adapter to the CT90, footpegs, re-make the wiring harness) Probably throwing some massive rise pro-taper handlebars on, too.

Someone talk me out of this.

    EDIT:

Well girlfriend just played the "do you want to spend money on an engine or an engagement ring" card soooo disregard everything in this post haha

    I’m alive.
Been getting my ass worked at my new job. 12-14 hour days and not a motorcycle ride in sight until the weekend.

that would be awesome! I think there's a small window to see the colors. Because it will be 80s for a while, and then boom, 40s. We can definitely make it happen though. @LocoLocal

I was just thinking today, that I need a long moto ride or a long camping weekend soon.

I’m headed west on the 11th and back on the 27th. Hopefully nothing happens in those two weeks. I also think a week in October I’m out but that’s late October.

I think October would be the month to do it. September is too early, and November it will probably be too cold

I did it to two phones w/ my ram x grip thing. An iphone six plus and an X. I rarely use it any more on my the F800 but occasionally use it on the CB. The inline 4 is quite a bit smoother than the parallel twin.
