What happened to Spoonman? Get the hammer for starting a body damage or no body damage debate - he rails on his rig and I’ve seen pics of my neighbors LJ do a lot of technical things with minimal scars - just driving style essentially. Whatever you like go for it!

I believe I used 2x3 x 3/16 (whatever wall thickness that comes out to, cant remember), all my scab plates were 3/16 as well.

Yes but you have to pie cut the frame all around to get it to fit, I believe I have a pic of it and you can see it in allenfabs thread. You will see once you hack it off and stick the tube in there. If I had to do it again, i would raise the pax side up to clear the steering linkages when flexed. I narrowed my front frame which has some pros and cons to it.

As slander said, 2x3 3/16” and it slides in loosely, so plating and all that will be needed

Cool thanks guys. Anyone raise their motor while doing all this? wondering how much i can raise it without cutting the hood. Going for as much up travel without raising ride height.

I would think the trans would hit the tunnel before you would have engine and hood clearance.

I know mine will cause I already pushed it up as much as possible so I’ll clearance the tunnel. Just don’t want to cut a hole in the hood. I’m willing to cut the hood bracing though
