Means you need to eat some more cheeseburgers.

I did the large Tee thing in college (02-06) til when I first met my wife 11 years ago. Then slowly I stopped giving a fuck and wanted to be more comfortable. Xl/2x is the way to go now.

I'm buying maintenance shit now. The cb drop didn't fix the sound/vib, so I'll be at the shop 1st thing this morning. I'm done guessing.

So maybe dumb question. Today I tried replacing my bedside Trd decals and the adhesive residue was obnoxiously stubborn. Used goo gone for a while but didn’t seem to be getting anywhere. So I used rubbing alcohol and got it all off, which I’ve used on plenty of decals on my other vehicles.

Later I read somewhere here on TW that the alcohol can damage/soften clear coat. It looks fine but now it’s nagging at me. Do I have anything to worry about?

If it didn't damage it earlier while it was still liquid, I won't damage it now since it's all evaporated.

I'm actually quite surprised that rubbing alcohol would actually remove the decal adhesive. Most of today's off the shelf chemicals are so neutered, they don't do shit.

Are you sure you didn't read acetone could soften the clear coat?

should be fine but I’d throw some sealer/wax over it just in case.

No they said alcohol for sure. Wish I remembered where I read it here. Surprised me bc I never heard of that before.

And yeah. 91% alcohol has never let me down yet when everything else has. That was absolutely the worst adhesive I’ve ever dealt with though. And I used to own a small car lot so I’ve removed a lot of dealer stickers.

You'll be fine. IPA is super common in car detailing.
