Take a look at Eylar on Amazon. Their cases are of similar quality/price as the Apache cases from HF, but they offer a bunch of different sizes and orientation of cases (flip top, split open, etc). That’s what I used when I built my saddle “bags”.

I have an extra ram arm, but no base or x grip. And those are like $60 additional. I guess Ill eventually get one, or like the one that I posted above to test out. The quad lock looked cool!

I have an x mount I’m not using. It always hits the lock or volume button on my phone so it’s a pain in the ass to use. I might kick it off if you’re interested. I want to test it with another phone (galaxy) before I give up on it though. I haven’t been on a ride in a long time though- Been too busy building sliders.

I don't think my surf rack will support a metal milk crate sadly. would be bad ass though.

I actually like the look of the stock fender better. Maybe just get a black one? You don’t have a supermoto :luvya:

If i get TKC80s later, I don't think they will fit with the stock fender

I had a RAM X-grip for a while but ran into too many issues with it. Had to be really careful with how my phone was in it because once it rebooted my phone repeatedly when I inadvertently had 2 of the posts hitting the power and volume side buttons. I also had my phone fly out of it once on an exit ramp. Now I have the Slipgrip mount and zero issues.

    https://www.slipgripcarmounts.com/

Learned about these from some of the Iron Butt guys who put down crazy amounts of miles in all kinds of weather. regardless of your opinions on riding like that these folks are the ones who can really tell you what works and what doesn't. Some of their bikes look like an airplane cockpit with all the electronics.
