Could you maybe help the rest of us understand how it benefits you to have dealers sell items which go OOS on your website very quickly? Is it mostly that by selling to a 3rd party in bulk you get roughly the same profit as you would by selling individually after factor packaging, order processing, dropping off for shipment, returns, etc?

From your fanbase, those who want to support what you are doing because it's unique and special and so freaking cool, it makes things a bit confusing.

 

I totally get it. And I’m still working out the kinks of dealers/distributors/etc. It’s a balancing act for growing. I could choose to sell 100% of my product solely though my own website...And I would actually reap more profit that way. But The theory behind acquiring dealers was to help promote my name and products as I can’t do all the marketing myself. It has been both good and bad. I didn’t realize how much they would put a dent in my inventory(#growingpains) and now I have to limit their ordering QTY as to not wipe myself out(or the customers that want to purchase directly from me). On the other hand it gives the dealers some cool exclusiveness when I run out and they are the only ones that have it. trust me, I’m trying to make everyone happy.. it just comes down to pumping more product(yet not too much). Hope this helps..?

Just ordered my black door handles and MGM steering wheel logo. Been waiting a minute for those door handles.

I initially thought I wanted red, got black installed form the first release. I am going to wait until I see what it looks like installed. I have a feeling the "Porsche" safety pull look I am looking for may not be achieved with these. Hopefully they will, though!

As far as the MT cup holder surround goes, I snapped mine back in yesterday and I’m pretty happy with it. Bleach bath one week, 3 coats adhesive promoter, 3 coats mgm paint, 3 coats gloss. We will see how it holds up. I’m thinking about doing my shift boot collar the same way.

Part of the problem with stock depleting so quickly is that MESO's vendors buy huge amounts of product that would otherwise be available for consumers. Its an interesting strategy.
