Would probably require a new switch......As you say, I think they are only a surface graphic on the other switches.

Not really a list, just a slight feeler, either way i am making this item for my truck and will show it to you all when it is complete. I am leaning more towards the manual release that would be beside your drivers seat like the older Honda cars.

The attached pic shows how I used the factory power clip to wire in the LED board. Takes a bit more time and is just another way to accomplish the same thing.

The two small holes in the center of the clip, for the wires, need to be reamed to about 1/2 mm or so. the wires are locked into place by a bit of CA glue on the top (outside) of the factory clip and along the top slot that the twisted strands are pushed into.

The wire continues in the slot down the side and along the bottom where it makes a connection on the metal spring, that you would have soldered to, when the clip is inserted and locked by a CW twist of 90 degrees.

The important thing here is that you need to look at how the clip is locked into place so that the red wire ends up on the top and the white on the bottom ( as in the picture) in order to match the instructions.

At this point you just carry on to the A/C panel to finish up.

    rcbs204,

I mentioned it once before, but if you're looking for suggestions on your next item, what about an update to the fog light switch so I can see when they're actually on? The switch lights up now, but there's no "lights are on" light. I usually end up flashing them on an off to tell.

Someone did a write-up on doing just that I think, but a packaged install like the 4WD one would be nice. :D

My foglight switch is lite up, not sure what we are asking for here. Maybe a status light telling the user that they are one or something like that?

Yes, that's it. Not a light to find the switch in the dark, but one to give you the status of the lights.

Ok, maybe i can do a bi-colored led, so it is still lite with the headlights, but turns green when the lights are on.
