Very nice! We've spent a few extra long "weekends" at camp since I'm able to work remotely as well.

How much lift & tire size are you running? Trailer weight and how does it pull? Considering a hybrid vs. pop up.

    Thanks Bud!
Yeah, I thought I was going to get a hernia trying to loosen those bolts. I had to go back in the basement and get a breaker bar to free them up. On the positive side the weld nuts weren't cross threaded but the threads were stretched a bit.
When you put in that access hole cut it big enough so your meathooks don't come out bloody. That sheet metal is sharp. Maybe get some small edging material to line the hole with. Taking those covers on and off to do an oil change is just plain crazy. I don't know what wing nut is responsible for that design but maybe he needs to be in a totally different field.
The metal OEM filter cover is a huge improvement over the plastic one and the Jowett cover is a major improvement over that. They are very well made!
My tire rotations get done by City Tire. Best $17.95 I spend. Once you turn into an old far you start to look for the easy way out. Once I retire though those are some pennies I'll probably pinch, not like I won't have time.
Thanks for the welcome back I appreciate it.

Color matched? Pretty fancy. Pretty slick items too aren't they. Mods that are definitely worth the $$.

Man, I hate that. They must do the same in my neighborhood a lot because the one time I accidentally left my door unlocked they went through my truck but oddly didn't take anything but a few dollars in change. They even gathered up a few tools and knives I had put away in different places and left them all sitting in the driver's seat. I guess they decided selling that stuff would be more trouble than its worth.

Edit: I forgot, I even had fishing rods and my tackle backpack in the truck, didnt take any of it. There was several hundred dollars worth of rods and reels, and for all they knew I could've had gold bricks in the backpack, looked like they didn't even find it behind the passenger seat.

Sometimes I wonder if locking my Taco is the right thing to do.
Glad there wasn't any damage for a few $$ in change.

I'm looking to source some hardware to make my shackles theft resistant.
If anyone knows where I can find either 6mm or 1/4-20 buttonhead security cap screws with left hand thread please let me know. Prefer stainless but will take whatever is available. Length not important, I'll shorten if need be. So far no luck finding anything but shcs or hex heads. I may be looking for a unicorn!

I already have my shackles so I'm trying to use what I have already. Wish I had known about these before I bought the ones that I have now. Had no idea that these were out there. Should mine disappear those are definitely the way to go.
    Appreciate the info and reply!
    :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Edit: I guess I know what's going on my FabFour rear bumper once I put it on.
    Still in the mod pile!

Curious again. Not that I'm looking to become one ( I can hear the laughter and visualize the head shaking already) but I have wondered how a person attains mod status.
    Curious is all.
I can still hear the laughter. I'm not looking to go there, we'll at least not until I'm potty trained but it is something that I've wondered about.

I'll give this :luvya: to myself and save some of you the trouble! :D

    Welcome to TW Bud! :hattip:
Not sure that's it. I've unfortunately had a vacation from this site and never noticed a line through my screen name.

Reinstalled XPEL PPF on the upper part of the tail gate. Thought I messed up when I cut it to length, cause I forgot the tailgate curves. But it turned out perfect.

Trailer is 3200 dry so around 4K full. Lift is 3 inches and the tires are 285/70/17. So far no issues on the drive, I am in a lower gear then normal for extra power especially up hill since I drive MT. Plenty of power and ride is good. Got a equalizer weight distribution hitch with it.
