    I haven't even been to Citrus at all since the last TW meet last October. The skid hasn't even been on the truck since after Hardrock later that month since I had to drop the whole front diff to get the broken chunk of inner stub axle splines out of it.

    Just did a quick and dirty paint job on the skid though. Probably try to put it back on Saturday.

    I tore the drivers inner CV boot last weekend(ifs problems lol), got that fixed. I changed the front diff oil since i had my skid down. I’m open to plan a ride whenever. I’m trying to get back into riding once or twice a month, just go ride and get away. let me know either way.

    Haha, that was fixed a long time ago. I just never got around to putting the skid back on. I'm still planning on this Sunday. If the mudhole on 15 and 20 doesn't have 40" of water in it, I might give it another shot. So far, I've never seen anyone make it through, but if it is as dry as it was in June of '19 when I was out there with Guy and the T4R, I might try it again...if for no other reason than I can try out the new winch. :D

    You nailed the bumper pretty much. I think they must have done some trimming on the core support in the SAS'd picture though. I don't think painting it black would account for all of it that I'm seeing in the first pic that I'm not in the second, though the winch hides most of it in the center.

    I like the winch placement on that bumper. Too many have the fairlead angled down. Just my opinion, but the fairlead and winch hook shouldn't be the first point of contact against an obstacle.

    On that truck specifically there was a lot of core support removed to get the steering box in place as well as the outer core support being directly in the way of the 40s

    I also have a 20+K snatch block so I can double down on the 10k pulling power...plus about 70' of 6" strap to get me to a decent anchor point. Should be fun. At least if it works, I'll be able to say I went in one side and came out the other, lol.

    That said, if it's full of water, I'm not even going to try it. I have no desire to repeat the fiasco the last time I tried it.

    that was trail 11. I probably could have gotten through that, but I was working out some issues at that time and my head wasn't right. I lost forward progress in 2WD and backed out in 4WD. At that point, I should have gone around it since I was alone at the time, or at least moved over half a truck width out of my own ruts and then went through in 4WD, but instead I just drove right back into my own ruts and got stuck. Luckily I got just enough cell signal to text for help.
