Call them and ask why you can't set a trailing stop. That's some bullshit right there.

As far as "leaving" money on the table goes. Set a goal for each trade. Once that goal is reached set a trailing stop. Every penny after that is icing on the cake. I'll post a chart later but I set my trails on 1/2 my options. They triggered as NVDA made a dip about 30 minutes ago. Then it went right back up. I don't look at it as "loosing" profit. I look at it as crushing my profit target for that trade. I can always buy more on the next dip if I want back in.

 

I just received a $7.50 dividend from Ruger... I wonder if that's a mistake?? That's a lot for a dividend when I own $100 worth of shares!

 

They did a special payout of 5/share

The only firearm stocks I've invested in to this point have been wooden. How's the industry doing as a whole?

 

any time there is political/civil unrest or politicization of guns in general, you can expect all gun manufacturers to start selling guns like hotcakes. If you had bought any of the gun makers at the beginning of the year, you would be up big time. AOUT, RGR, SWBI, VSTO are the ones that I know of. I don't own VSTO although I wish I did. I got impatient and sold it and then it went to the moon.

 

it looks like CSCO has settled down, if anyone was on the fence about buying, I would go for it now

Holding CRWD call and STZ...and they're way up but I think they're still going to climb...come on baby...STZ has solved it early covid supply issues...and CRWD has earnings on 9/2 and I get the feeling there's been a bit uptick in data security this quarter...I think the spike to $120 today indicates a good chance for $500 more per contract through earnings...

 

Yep. Probably less long then I am on INO though. At this point, just to break even, I'll need them to announce they made a pill that cures Covid, AIDS, and cancer. Like a multi-vitamin. lol

 

Yes...but you only need the pill if you have symptoms...and no need to get tested otherwise

It's done. I no longer hold any NVDA call options. Between my IRA and my play account I started today with 24 of them. Average return of 50%. Whatever profit I left on the table doesn't mean shit to me. It's been a fun week. Hope all you guys did well.

 

So this is always odd for me to see and wonder..
I have sells set for these options...at $180 and $200 just in case I miss something...and looks like today some sold at $233..which obviously should have filled my orders, but I know this is some kind of fluke/scam...I just can't figure out how you pull this off...

Webull had some glitch the other day where VTI dropped like 12% at the very end of the day. I noticed because it really jacked my portfolio. I set a limit buy for the next morning, but of course it didn't fill.

 

Strange things. I still am holding a few TOL options. I'm down on them but have 15 trading days for them to recover. Last night I got up to take a leak and decided to check pre-market. TOL was up 7%. On my way back to bed I stopped and checked again. It was back to flat. How do you move a stock 7% in pre-market and have it return to flat in 2 minutes? So now I'm praying that happens during trading hours and I catch it. lol

 

I'm guessing it's REALLY Low volume..I've been all over STZ pre-market etc for all those reasons..There were a bunch of trades this AM...SINGLE SHARES...

That single share is 30 RH younguns each buying a fraction. This fractional share shit needs to go away. It's like high bid single deck black jack tables. Everyone wants to play but only those enough cash can. lol
