Question, how’s your rotator cuff hurt if you’ve just been running?

    Listen I lift too brah.

My running is what bothers it. Swinging your arms back and fourth 20,000 times a day pisses it off apparently.

Lifting makes it feel better. I imagine because it gets fatigued and stops working which changes the mechanics of the shoulder and causes pain.

Graston massage and my rotator cuff band exercises cure it. I’ve been just getting lazy on the band exercises.

I must work on my weak AF glutes and learn the concept of core bracing. This is apparently vital to squat success.

@Supra TT are you alive? Are you functioning well on your low carb diet?

I'm interested what your diet is looking like right now in terms of your meals.

I'm eating between 3,200-3,500 cals a day right now depending on the day. I've never eaten this much in my fucking life. I'm starting to cut corners with ice cream, peanut butter samiches, tortillas, pancakes etc and I really need to get my shit together. I need to plan better than I am.

Do you just add shit like butter to your meals to get extra cals? I don't want to eat crap tons of food (especially carbs) just because then I feel all weighted down and meh. I cook eggs and veggies in rendered bacon fat to try to add some cals in. I also go for like higher fat meats. Are there other secrets? I know you and I are probably the cleaner eaters on here.

    That's cute.

Are you looking to add weight, or just balancing out energy demands of running? Whatever it is, pick calorie and nutrient dense foods...natural pb or a handful of nuts are great. Whole eggs, fibre rich carbs like steel cut oats or brown rice.

It may sound weird, but having eaten pretty clean for the last 20 years or so, and paying attention to my body, I find that I know what my body needs as it will send me cravings for the stuff I'm missing...I will occasionally get a craving for fat...like a whole avocado or something absurd like the butter begins to look tasty. It's a good sign that my fats have been too low. Same with carbs...(I never crave protein as it's the cornerstone of all my meals lol)

My goal is to recomp / lean gain. I'm not going for a bulk by any means. I'm done with getting fat. I want to stay lean and relatively light for my running.

I eat tons of nuts, I'm trying to find more ways to incorporate some almond butter that doesn't include processed things like bread and pretzels lol.

I totally agree with you on being able to tell what your body needs, I'm there myself. I just have gotten into a certain pattern and habit of eating certain things and those things aren't getting me enough cals anymore.

I keep forgetting about avocados! I need to grab those for salads and just to throw on stuff. Olives is good too I need to add those to my grocery list.

    Haha!

I know a lot of people go like batshit crazy for PB (my husband has his own jar he eats out of), but I could take it or leave it.

Now Neutella is some shit I can eat by the bowl
