    There are tons of beautiful public roads to drive in the spruce knob area but nothing you’ll need to lock the hubs for lol at least that I know of. Aren’t there some trails in the George Washington Nat Forest in VA? That’s not too far from spruce knob.....

    Well the tires didn't get put on I received the wrong wheel spacers. So now I have to wait for new ones to arrive.

    Check out Smith Mountain Road. It’s really cool. You will need to open/close a few gates and will drive through open pasture.

    Also off Spruce knob towards Sinks of Gandy is really cool. You can cut through the Laurel Fork Wilderness back to the main road into Seneca and make a loop.

    Neat. It's not really a wheeling trip but if it's close I'm always down to hit a trail.


    I'm not a beer drinker, and the distillery looks like it's only doing weekend pickup, which isn't going to match when I'm near Spruce Knob.

    I'll definitely be by stumptown.. my grandma lives in Davis. My other surviving lives in Parsons.

    I’ve driven through Hawthorne, you couldn’t pay me enough, or even bribe me with the promises of blowing things up, to live there.

    That area of WV is pretty decent. Not terribly far from a big city, some cool recreation options nearby and plenty of history if you’re into that sort of thing.

    I’ve been through Hawthorne too, interesting area.

    This area isn’t bad. I like it! Tons of history and areas to explore! Harpers Ferry, Antietam, Shenandoah, Jefferson and Washington National Forest, D.C, etc!
