You guys talking about "the last motorcycle" reminded me of this movie from years back.

    https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082642/

"The Last Chase" with Lee Majors and Burgess Meredith. I remember watching this on HBO a long, long time ago.

Dragged pegs on the CB750 today and scared the crap out of myself. I need to figure out how to put some feelers on those pegs, it's scary dragging steel that catches instead of wearing down.

It’s now been 6 full weeks since the DMV received my title and paperwork and still no plates. Useless ass government at its finest! I’ll be calling first thing Monday morning

    Why those tires?
I’m kinda scared. I’m in West VA now and I reached out to BMW to get a copy of the title, it’s electronically filed with CA and they have to request it. Scared at how long this will take.

One plus...BMW is fucking fantastic with their customer service. I reached out to them and they are literally doing everything to process this and sending me all the information, forms and instructions so it’ll be seem less to register it here in WV.

From BMW: “ Our records indicate that your vehicle is titled in California. The state of California electronically files their titles, this means we do not hold the title in-house. We have submitted a request to the DMV of California to have a title processed and sent to to us. However, in order to have the title released to the DMV in West Virginia, you must fill-out a Title Request Form and return to us via e-mail or fax. We will send you a move pack with the form and the information required to register your vehicle in the state of West Virginia”

Good luck lol. I'm pretty much SOL if anything happens because I sent them the OG title. Can't believe they haven't done jack shit in 6 weeks time.

It’s amazing. As progressive as CA is...they are so far behind the times with the governmental affairs and technology. I’m a WA state resident and can do damn near everything online. My 4Runner is registered in VA and I can change my address, update info, renew online with no issues. CA...I need to print a form, pen and ink it, mail it to them so I can change my address with them. Really...this day in age?

How can we be sure they received it?? Delivery confirmation??

Not that I like the DMV or anything, just saying. USPS has been known to lose things. :notsure:

    Another government entity.

Yup. I sent it with usps and have a tracking number. Sure the postal worker could have hit delivered or whatever but that’s not very likely.

Blows my mind. The state of Google, Facebook, HP, Cisco, AMD, etc and the stare government runs on paper...

Got my matrix registered yesterday. Besides having to wait an hour even with an appointment it wasn’t terrible
