Your dealership can turn the front collision sensor off if you sign a waiver. The system is kinda bitchy when it comes to any kind of lift.

Will the truck be drive-able till i can make it to the dealer? i understand i will have lights on or flashing but its not going to go into limp mode or nothing right? The closest dealer is like 2 hours from me.

I just pulled the trigger on these today from Wheeler. Is there a sensor issue when you add a lift? I have a steel bumper that weighs 153 lbs with 32 inch light bar and no winch so I asked for the struts to be set to the second perch so it can settle to just 2 inches of lift.

Nothing of the sort. You just get a warning on your front HUD saying that your collision sensor isn't turned on. Shouldn't have any sort of flashing lights or weirdness going on.

sometimes the system doesn't even notice and won't flash any warnings at all and it will work just fine. Basically, it just becomes inconsistent when you have a lift. Not really a huge deal and shouldn't affect drivability whatsoever.

Basically if you've ever gotten dirt or mud or anything on that sensor window and it's giving you the error where it can't read, that's the error you're going to get. If it doesn't bother you, you don't have to have the dealer adjust it at all

Good to hear. :) I have a 2019 TRD Sport and the last thing i wanted was more surprises. I just want to stiffen up the suspension as it is my daily driver and the roads here suck. Did you add a block or the 3 AAL to get 2" in the back?

If the roads suck, stiff suspension is the last thing you want.

Ok let me explain what i'm looking for. I have a TRD SPORT with 153 lbs Body armor in the front with no winch and an 85lbs bumper in the rear. I know that with the stock suspension there is a bit of role and nose dive. Now when I mean the roads suck i mean that the roads for my daily commute have a few dips and when i travel now with the new bumper those dips bounce the truck a lot more that when stock. Maybe stiffer was not the correct word. I want a suspension that would minimize the bounce (dampen) on the dips and the rolls when traveling hard pack beach roads and my daily commute. I get to the occasional dirt trail but nothing that requires a 4x4. I see that the folks here claim a smoother more grounded ride than stock and that is what i am looking for. I hope that explains it better. :) Plus i'm looking to add 275/70/R17 so i want the 2" lift.

Gotcha that makes more sense lol. I've got a sport with armor back, sides, and underneath. Off road the sport suspension is.... Rough. So when you said the roads suck, I assumed broken up and potholes lol. Oops

So where are y'all ordering your kits from? Toytec seems to sell them way more expensively than eibach

ToyTec will assemble them for you, has blocks for the rear, diff drop kit and new U bolts. I think all that’s about 850$ if i’m not mistaken.

Diff drops aren't worth it imo, more stuff to break.

I plan on doing aal and extended u bolts as well as a u bolt flip
