Who gets tired of hearing that the TRD Sport 4x4 isn't off road capable? It's a Toyota truck!!

This speaks more to your choice of trail than the difference in capabilities between the trucks.

Yea, if forest service and logging roads are your thing a sport will be fine.

I'm more tired of people saying to get an Off Road when someone asks for a street truck.

That’s right, because everyone knows that Off Roads should never be driven on roads. They simply aren’t equipped to handle the smoothness. l

That’s a very simple solution, go to the for sale post and buy a OR suspension basically brand new for $200-$300. People with the OR suspension often complain that the suspension feels like riding a boat... go figure.

I bought the TRD Sport because of it versatility. I took a 464 mile trip in it two days ago and it was as comfortable a ride/drive as anyone could expect from a truck or SUV and yet I have never had any issue at all
driving in snow/ice or the few times I've tested it off road.
It's The perfect ALL-AROUND truck IMO.

That part really helps when you are trying to pick up chicks by telling them that you are a race car driver.

I had my sport buried in some mud last year while hunting way off road in the Black Hills of South Dakota and I was able to get it out without too much trouble it does just fine but it was a mess to clean up. I had to read the manual and turn off all of the traction control stuff to get it out of bog but I was able to do it after about 10 minutes. It was really stuck. It was probably about 25° out so it stayed muddy for quite a while before it warmed up enough to spray it off. My wife wouldn’t let me park it in the garage. I like my sport model. And if you are curious No deer!
