I work in bio research and currently developing a device that passively measures multiple variables & reacts appropriately if certain thresholds are met to bring said variable back within desired range.

I was handed this project just before the shutdown occurred and all of the writing of the program and physical building of the device I could do remotely. But I'm now testing/wringing out bugs with it in place where it'll be used once its fully developed.

What kind of film did you get? I got 3M ceramic film that is supposed to block UV and about 60% heat and infrared. I'm going to see how I like it on the front windows. I might go back and get the rest done in that to keep heat down and the inside from fading. I noticed from inside now the back windows don't look as dark. It's close but off a little.

I honestly didn't ask that. I told them to match it close to the rear. The invoice says match rear up to 15% 3M ceramic IR . I'd guess 20- 25%

I got ceramic film, #35 whatever that is. Not sure if it was 3M or not. Ordered it from either Amazon or eBay. It came pre cut. Got my wrap buddy to put it on. Cost me 43 bucks and a lunch.

Oh lucky you. I don't know anyone who is good at it and don't trust myself to get it perfect. I paid the shop it took my last vehicle to years ago. Not cheap, it took 3 weeks to get a Saturday appointment and if they been in business over decade they have to be good.

I dont think 3m ceramic goes darker than 30%, unless you went with their top of the line Crystalline which you can get at 20%.

Whichever one you ended up with looks pretty good though!

Edit: nevermind, didnt realize they had a separate "IR" line which looks to have much more options available

If I was in your shoes I would have done the same thing. I watched him do it and believe me, it's not a job for the inexperienced.

Did my first oil and filter change at 4773 miles. Will rotate the tires when it’s not raining. Removed the front air dam while under there.

It's actually not bad at all. You hear it at higher revs before shifting, but on the highway its a nice tone and not loud at all inside
