Fan between front seats?

    Remove the console and found a small fan. Looks like OEM set up. You can see a grill from the rear seats. Does not look like it has ever run; no dust on the blades. Does not work with the air or heat turned on. Any idea what it is for?

    Thanks, that is exactly what it is. Not too bright on my part. Only Japan would put it there, out of sight out of mind. That's why the fan blades show no dust; the thing is never been used!
