    I need some help with this project. Any insight would be much appreciated. I plan to use the generic car cig lighter pictured to power my Garmin 1490t gps. I have a spare fuse tap laying around. So, I'm going to use the fuse tap to give power to the cig plug. Then I'll use my provided power cable from Garmin to power the GPS. My questions are: 1. Will this work without blowing my truck up 2. What size fuse should I use. Thanks in advance!
