    This is the first new truck I've ever purchased. I recently traded in my 2016 trd sport 6A LB for a 2020 trd off road 6A SB for my 40th birthday, and could not be happier with the move. It didn't seem to matter what I tried in the 2016, I could not get the transmission to be enjoyable to drive. The amount of gear hunting and vibrations were unacceptable. There was enough new features on the 2020 and good reviews on the trans to pull the trigger, and they finally got it right. The difference is actually quite surprising when driving it, I haven't had time yet to read on here what others have been noticing.
    This is my 7th Tacoma, and in my opinion the 2020 is the best version they've released yet (I know many will disagree)... Prior to this I felt like the 2014 was the most solid year they'd made.
