209 TACOS - B/S and shenanigans

I've seen them move hardware on those tracks. We live in Hughson, so we see a lot of the trains that roll up and down through there.

They rotate hardware in and out of Irwin (training) all the time. If it's heading North, it's probably attached to the 2nd Inf. and headed to Lewis in Washington.

That makes sense, I suspected Ft Lewis WA or Port of Stockton or Port of Oakland for overseas deployment. I watched a documentary about how the M1 Abrams are refurbished at a facility back east. They are stripped to a bare hull, sandblasted, repaired and completely rebuilt with all new components.

BTW, I used to hunt with a guy from Hughson back in the mid nineties. He ran hounds and was a Toyota fan too.

Life gets better than this... but this is good for right now

 

Bumpstops are set at the exact proper height. The bumps fully compress just as the rubber (emergency) stop on the shock shaft hits the body of the shock. The rubber stop on the shock shaft is just under 1 inch.

Diff breather installed! Kit had a smaller union breather than what I thought it would be but still bolted up no problem.
