Has anybody tried these housings? I can't find any info or reviews and this would help with my chrome delete.

I'm probably in the minority but I actually am not a big fan of the LED runner. I have been looking at the DEPO rear taillight replacements and will be doing those for sure.

Got a link to the TRD Pro Depo replicas you got? And possibly a pic? I was going to do my own retro/black out but having done a number of them on Subarus, I think id just rather spend the money on a good set of rep's

    Thanks.!.

Right on brother! So I did in fact have USR bookmarked from months ago, but forgot about it. Looking at the description, it says some wiring modification is required IF you have the factory LED DRL, which I have (2018 TRD OFf Road 4x4), so I need to finger out what exactly needs to be modified to make them work for mine. I do like the way those look tho! Nicely done !!!

Man, I had the whole set up, with H11 LED's and the wiring mod added to my cart, used the code, then got to check out only to discover that shipping was almost $60.00.... I got cold feet and decided to send them an inquiry.... They are about 50 miles from me, but I won't be able to make it out there any time soon, so may have to wait.... I can't wrap my head around $60.00 in shipping....

Let @crashnburn80 explain why these are going to be terrible.

    Throwing leds in th
you would have wasted your money anyway. Throwing the LEDs in these projectors. Anything other then a proper retro fit is going to be a downgrade over OEM

They will be shit just like every other low quality aftermarket housing sold to uninformed people looking for cosmetic change, not realizing they are giving up highly precision engineered made in USA performance optics for some external black plastic and cheap china crap optics that are not at all properly engineered. Everyone that does this then follows up with how their headlight output doesn't seem to work anymore, and looking for lighting upgrades to try and restore stock performance.

Funny thing, I kept digging after discovering that the shipping was a bit steep and that was exactly what I have uncovered in the last 20 minutes or so... There are definitely threads out there with people complaining about light output on these aftermarket headlights. That is the last thing I want. . I may just bite the bullet, find a used set and black them out myself. I've done it on 4 other cars over the last 10 years and they come out good, but I have always reused the factory butyl sealant and reheated them back together. Maybe this time, I will clean out all the old sealant and replace it with new and see if I come out with a better product in the end. Every set i've done in the past has had moisture ingress eventually. It usually takes a year or 2 but it always happened.
Seems like a proper retro, with new glue might be the ticket.
