There's a 10% discount through today (it's for April) at Softopper. The code is SAVE10 . I'm gonna order one. I keep waffling between black, cause it's a safe choice, and tan cause it'll be cooler for the dog, and it is less boring with the cement. At first I thought it'd be rad to do grey, cause it's pretty close. So now I come to you all, consulting the oracle. Cast your votes.

Black and cement good combo. My son has the black and a silver Tacoma looks great and the black does not cause his 2 dogs any issues and he lives in Alabama.

I had a black and now have a grey on my white Tundra. The black seemed to hold stains a lot more than the grey. Mud/clay spots would seem to stick out more and take q bunch more elbow grease to remove them. I think I prefer the tan.

Ah yes, dirt blends in better. Good point. I like dirt.
I thought close to 50% grey(cement) was gonna be awesome, and it is, but it makes this particular choice kinda easy to argue for any of em. Like a blank slate kinda thing.

Just ordered black but now that I'm seeing this, I feel like the tan looks good and would be a cool way to do things differently. I wonder how'd it'd look with some bronze wheels.

Can’t go wrong with black on cement. As you can tell, I personally love the color combo!!

I run a dryer hose from the AC vent to the bed for my dogs on long trips, would a softopper hold any of the cool air? Using a snugtop now but needing to switch to decrease payload when I'm hauling my camper.

It would do ok with the A/C constant running but you have to remember if you get the black softopper and if the sun it out and hitting it, then it will be an oven back there. I do find however that this product from Amazon works quite well and fits on the inside of the roof like a glove. Helps keep some heat out. I notice a difference anyway. Hope this helps. Take care.

I'm test driving a Ram right now and they held the taco as collateral. I'll set it up and post pics when I get it back. Trying everything I can to hold onto the taco though.

We usually do run the AC at max and only have one vent open for the cabin. So half the air is sent to the bed. I'm thinking the softopper might work and I might be able to keep the taco.

This is a 3" to 4" dryer hose adaptor. I put a black dryer hose onto there with a hose clamp. It goes out the back window where I clip it to a kennel with a clothes pin.
