Well, generator, Propane water heater and cooking. Now if I could just get the trees to cooperate by staying upright.

Had to replace well pump and pipe on old place before we sold and had to do the same at new place after moving in

 

Life is good living in the Boonies but you gotta be prepared.
Woodstove and kerosene lamps.

I put threaded unions on the well head after the check valve and before the expansion tank.
Easy swap out after pump was under Saltwater for days.
$175 for new spare pump in attic.
If the saltwater gets that high it's burn the house time.

 

Bad thing about well water...'lectric goes out, no flushie flushie

We were on well water for 6 or 7 years and our water was complete shit (although many folks out here had great water). I guess it depends on where you stick your pipe

 

This one was on city water too , think they were using the well for a garden . I don’t think it really matter where u stick ur pipe as long as u go deep enough

 

I have a lot of family up your way. We go waaaay back
