I have had Truxedos for a lot of my trucks but none of them had the Tacoma side slide rails with tie down points.

My question is will the ProX 15 rails of the Truxedo interfer with the sliding thumbscrew tie down points? I am thinking I my have to remove the 4 sliding tied down points. store them in the little pocket beside the 110v outlet. Then roll up the truxedo cover against the cab and twist on the anchor points if i'm hauling something.

    Anybody have this Truxedo cover?

    Fits perfect on my 2018.

    Didn't remove anything.

*EDIT* Sorry, we have a different cover.

I have the Truexdo Pro X15 tonneau cover and love it. When you order yours specific to your Tacoma, it will come with the proper hardware that integrates to the tie down rails. Super easy to install. Just make sure you put the tie down cleats back in the rails before final tightening of the rail clamps.

This. I have a truxedo and it works great. As long as you install the cleats when you install the cover you will be good. The only downside is you can't remove the cleats without also removing the cover.

You say remove the cover. Does this mean roll the cover up or remove the frame.

No. You would have to remove the rails to get the cleats off.

I just installed this exact cover over the weekend. No issues here.

Instructions say to remove the cleats for installation so you can adjust the spacing of the Truxedo brackets, which I did, but pretty sure I could have done the whole thing without removing them.
