Morning Pa. Anyone have suggestions on a good ground blind? Found a new trail yesterday and no trees around to set up a tree stand. Going to set a 4x4 in the ground and attach my trail cam. Will see....

It all depends on your preferences. I've broke every hub blind I've owned, so I stick to the ameristep doghouse blinds. Ameristep, Barnett (I think) pay attention to how the mesh attached, so go cheap and use Velcro. I prefer magnets or similar. Good luck and thanks for reminding me to get my ass in gear.

Thanks Mike, funny I was checking out Ameristep products this morning. One thing I am unsure of, they advertise shoot through mesh. Don't think that would suit me, I want some of the windows open completely. So you are saying the mesh can be unattached?

Anyone in SE PA or S NJ that's great at Plastidip want to make some money? I need someone to black out the chrome trim around these four windows, I've got everything four cans of plastdip and the glossifier and tape.

Today I started taping it off and thinking I'm going to screw this up. Pulled the tape off and willing to pay someone to do it.

Let me know if anyone can help or a referal to someone.

    Thx mucho

Yes almost all screens are removable, how that occurs is different with each. I'm not a fan of Velcro for many reasons.

To me shoot through is maybe ok for rifle, but I would never shoot a broadhead through mesh. The best suggestion I can make is to mess with it at home a few times before taking it out. Get the extended warranty most places offer!

Finally finished sound deadening my rear doors. Both inside and out.
Put the new front fender on the motorcycle and took it for a ride to make sure everything is good. It's not. Front brakes aren't grabbing like they are supposed to.
So ordering new brake lines front and back. New pads front and back. And maybe if the money is right new front and rear rotors.
Have had this bike for 16yrs rode it probably 15hrs in the last 7 years. And constantly fixing shit.

The coolest thing I ever saw was a Ice Fishing shack doing double duty as a Hunting blind .

Close things up for Ice Fishing open up the windows on 3 walls for shooting

The over all outside was about 10'x8'

I don’t think you flattened that sound mat enough. Pretty sure the square pattern is supposed to disappear when you roll it with a roller so you know it’s good

    Morning PA!

Truck got a much needed polish, sealant, and wax yesterday. Only needed to polish the doors and tailgate, but it still took about 5 hours for everything...

I also realized how naked the truck looks like without the bug/stone guard (it definitely went back on, much easier to detail with it off):

Guess I'll throw in a reflection shot :D

(yes my garage is a cramped mess, don't remind me...)

Definitely some work to get the single stage to shine and stay that way. Neighbors think I've lost my mind, I mean I have, but that's another subject

Morning all! Ready to get through this week so I can enjoy my vacation next week. With Covid and all else going on this year I've only taken off 1 day so far this year and I need a break. Nice thing is I've gotten every room in my house repainted, new flooring in kitchen and dining room. New carpet in living room, hallways, and master bedroom. Started installing laminate flooring in guest bedroom yesterday and hope to finish up that tonight after work.

Oh yeah, and I bought my Tacoma this year!
