What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I find the only settings lost are the climate control airflow positions. All the radio presets remain. And the truck doesn't die the first time you start it like 2nd gens do.

I'm not a fan of having an airbag explode in my face so I disconnect the battery if I'm working anywhere near one.

 

what air intake is that??
How does it sound?
I used to have a Silverado and had an intake tube made by air aid. It kept stock air box like the one you’ve got pictured. It made it sound tougher for sure and looked cool but they don’t make it for Tacoma.
I like the look of yours. I know there isn’t really any real power gains, but the throatier sound and cleaner look is still cool to me.

 

Yes, the intake tube does look cool. It does not make any air flow noise until about 3000+ rpm. I have discover that acceleration is smoother since the install and I replaced the OEM filter with a FRAM.

Installed new bedside decals from @CBoy808 today. Decals look great! Though the installer .... should give 25% discount for the result

 

Added a roof top awning.

 

So this week i installed a bedside bottle opener and some spidertrax spacers

 

The pictures make it seem a little intense. I’m guessing it’s not nearly so obvious in the vehicle?

 

Worked myself into a frenzy today installing these mat locks on the passenger side. Took 3 beers to recooperate.

 

Look good. Whose locks are those? I'd like to do the same when I wear out the current set of mats.

 

Completed my climate controls and 4X4 switches. Not a huge mod, but haven’t seen it done like this before, so figured I’d post it.

 

how are you liking those AVS low profile? Is that in channel? Looking to add that or the weathertechs.
