The 6112 are not meant to be ran with a spacer on them. Bilstein designed it so the driver side would be a higher notch. I would take the spacer off and see o
How it rides. Also give it about 1 month to settle in or about 1k miles. That’s what mine took

After 1000 miles, should re-torque all bolts that were touched during install. Also if the alignment shop loosened the LCA bolts, maybe they didn't tighten them enough. This thread below, some had clunks and it was LCA bolts. I'd get a torque wrench and go over everything. Peace.

By take the spacer off, you mean use the oem top hat?
Readylift equipped the setup with their special top hat that is .5” thicker to “add lift”

Also, right now my truck doesn’t rub at all and I’m stoked about it haha.. I’m worried I’ll rub if I run oem top hats

Maybe I’ll try oem top hats and lower one notch on the passenger side and see how that goes...

Headstrong sells the 6112 with a quarter inch spacer to negate taco lean, bilstein's official stance is you shouldn't use spacer or run the driver side 1 notch higher, I don't think either way will effect the coilover negatively, ymmv.

My 6112s from Headstrong didn’t come with a spacer. They came with the drivers side one notch higher than the passengers.

Been running my driver's side with a 3/8" spacer for almost 5 years without issue. It's a moot point IMO. The only time I'd definitely advise NOT to run a spacer is if the lift setting is already maxed out. That's just asking for bad news.

So I'll go for now with 5100 up front and erase the "knuckhead" lift wich was installd by the previous owner. It was about a 1 inch.
For the rear I'll be installing later the 5160's.
Let's see how it works, rides and looks after these changes.

Hey everyone, just installed this suspension today.

    Specs:
    • 6112 on 6/5 setting with 650 lb. springs
    • JBA High Caster UCA
    • 5100s rear with Icon progressive AAL
    • Toyo Open Country AT3 285/70/17
    • ProComp Rockwell Series 17x8.5, 0 offset
Initial thoughts: Currently rubbing at full lock on the mud flaps, will be removing these and hope the rubbing will go away. Rides SIGNIFICANTLY stiffer than stock OR suspensions in my opinion. Everyone that said 'a tad more stiff', not sure what you meant because I noticed a huge difference. This also could be due to the 650 lb. spring without a bumper yet. Not saying it is a bad thing, I think I actually like it being more stiff. I especially felt this going over some train tracks at around 40-45 MPH. The shocks and springs ate it up and felt very comfortable.

I also noticed my fuel economy tanking. I averaged around 15 mpg going home on the highway, didn't think it was gonna take that big of a hit.

Will update after a few months and off-road use on my trip to California. Thanks everyone for the information and those who answered my questions! Hope this helps other people.

Pics please side view. cause I did notch 6/6 & 1/4 top plate driver side. It’s stiff but I’m use to it now and doesn’t feel as stiff anymore after 500mi just wanted that 2.5” front lift

Just swapped out to the 650 springs. Huge difference. Back to original height pre bumper/ winch install.

What's everyone doing with the 600 lb springs? trash?

The other day, I decided to take a look under the truck and make sure all was good and tight from the last work that was completed. I could not believe my eyes, the adjustment on the 6112's were set on 5/5. They were installed on 6/6 and I brought the truck back to have them correct it to 5/4. They were given a copy of the directions with the information highlighted. My question to you is, should I bring it back a 3rd time to have it corrected or leave it the way it is?

Take center hub to fender measurements. If left and right side are close to equal height, then leave it. If the passenger side is taller, correct it.

Passenger side is 1/2 inch taller front and rear.

The rear had Icon MULTI RATE RXT LEAF PACK W/ ADD IN LEAF installed on #2. That's probably why the rear is 1/2 taller on the passenger side.

I would correct the front, if it were my truck.
