I get packages from the houses with the same number as mine on both streets on either side of mine. This happens with UPS, FedEx, USPS. They're all shit lol

I could imagine lol. I let my friends use my maverick 88 at the range and they give up after a few rounds. Maybe these will make it more fun for them.

When training my wife and boys, I always used 9 pellet low recoil buck. It took the harshness out of training, so they would come back.

My street address is similar to the FBI office in the nearby Big city. I once opened a large envelope without looking; a local bank was sending the FBI counterfeit 100's. I kindly returned them to the local bank that sent them.

Mini shells were a success at the range! Slugs were so much fun at 50 yards with a cheapo red dot on the 12 gauge.

I honestly didn't have a preference as far as manufacturer initially because this is completely new to me tech. The P80 G17 my light is on is a dedicated home self defense weapon, and will only be used for emergencies, and at the range. That (at the range) will also include night practice.

I knew I wanted a light and laser combination. So I did some research and according to people with more experience than me, green lasers are easier to see during the day than red. So that immediately eliminated red lasers. I have some personal experience with LED devices like flashlights and automotive lights so I am aware what lumen's are, and also what color temp is. With that said, I don't care what anyone says. More is more. Being that all my choices used quality components I knew that would separate the men from the boys. As far as the strobe option goes, I just thought it would be an additional benefit. As my wish list grew my options eliminated themselves. Then there's size. This shouldn't be a big deal but I am just not a fan of the lights that extend beyond the barrel. I just felt like if I could achieve the same outcome with a shorter light then finding a holster would be easier too. Finally, I'm trying to maintain this as a budget build. Cost became important and I ultimately decided I could live without a light altogether unless I could find a good deal.

Then, my very good friend @pdenajim who introduced me to and helped me build the P80 called one day and said he was able to bid on and win a new Baldr Pro. He know I had narrowed my choices down to this light simply because it checked all my boxes and he was nice enough to snag it for me. I was astounded how perfect the light was. 1350 lumens is insanely bright. The laser is visible in full sunlight, and during the day in the house is impossible not to see. The strobe feature is definitely an advantage. Size is perfect. It is almost flush with the end of the slide. Activating the light is easy and it has an ambidextrous switch. The quick release feature is more than adequate and when it's attached to the pic rail tight tight.

While I'm here. I'm looking for a picatinny rail mount for my air gun so I can attach a bipod. I saw this one but damn, it is too expensive ($50 + shipping) for what it is.

When I can get this one for $10 shipped!

anyone out there own and shoot Howa Mini 1500 in 6.5 Grendel. I'm thinking about buying one for future deer hunting rifle. Because of my physical limitations, I can't shoot my 30-06 anymore, just too much recoil. From what I've read on the "Web", this caliber is pretty flat shooting and has really low recoil. Should make a decent deer gun for 200 yards, which is about the max distance that I would try and attempt.

Knocked this out today. P320 filler plate for Holosun 407k. 416 Stainless

Picked up the optic on Wednesday. Modeled the plate Thursday. Programmed it yesterday. Machined this morning.

Came out pretty damn good for a one off. Fitment was perfect right out of the machine. Dropped right in place and contours matched. Impressed with myself.. Definitely only one of these out there! Lol

Looking at a Galil build, I've heard a fair share of mixed reviews about the clones from Century and ATI. What do you think of yours and how much did the CNC build run you?
